Outline of Final Research Achievements |
We have examined the applicability of Raman lidar technique as a laser remote sensing tool in water. The Raman technique can be used for measurements of CO2 gas dissolved in water and CO2 bubbles. Also, the effect of seawater on CO2 Raman spectra has been evaluated. We provide further insights into development of compact lidar systems for marine applications. The results show that our technique can be applied to efficient underwater monitoring.
