Scientific Significance and Expected Research Achievements

宇宙に存在する低温ガスを舞台に非熱的に進行する原子分子反応の進行の様相を明らかにすべく、XUV光精密分光実験、衝突反応実験、大気シミュレーションの有機的連携の下に進められる研究計画は、準備研究も既に進められており、実現可能性も高い。特に、実験部分に関し、日米独の３グループの協力によるビーム実験を日本を研究拠点として進める企画は、シナジー効果も期待され、国際性の観点からも期待できる。
