| Scientific Significance and Expected Research Achievements |
強等方性結晶と呼ばれる特殊構造をもつ固体の物性研究であり、応募者自らが発見した強等方性K4構造、特殊なトポロジーに基づくDiracコーンの実績を踏まえ、さまざまな新物性も期待される。これらの磁性・電気伝導計測、スピン偏極光電子分光・スピン偏極STM/STSによる詳細な電子状態解析を行うことで、構造特殊性を活かした多彩な新機能物性の発見等、飛躍的な発展が見込まれる。
