Scientific Significance and Expected Research Achievements	本研究は寄生植物の吸器誘導機構の解明だけでなく、独立栄養植物（シロイヌナズナ）も研究対象にすることで、広く陸上植物におけるキノン・フェノール類の根圏における生理学的機能を明らかにしようという独自性の高い研究である。応募者は遺伝学的アプローチに長けており、ハマウツボ科の条件的寄生植物コシオガマを用いたモデル実験系はオリジナリティーがある。研究計画も綿密で、大きな成果が期待できる。
