Scientific Significance and Expected Research Achievements	性染色体の進化的起源と維持機構を明らかにするため、性染色体入れ替わり前後の状態が混在する2種のショウジョウバエに注目した点に高い独創性と学術的価値があると評価できる。ショウジョウバエは遺伝学のモデル生物としての研究・試料の蓄積があり、応募者らは遺伝学に関する研究遂行能力も高いと考えられることから、実現可能性は高いと期待できる。
