Scientific Significance and Expected Research Achievements

悪性リンパ腫において微小環境を構成する免疫細胞がクローン進化し腫瘍細胞とのフィットネスを獲得するという応募者らが見出した概念に基づき、本研究では微小環境細胞の特性と分子基盤の解明を目指す。微小環境細胞を標的とする治療法の開発に繋がると考えられ、がん細胞そのものへの治療が奏功しない難治症例に対する臨床的なアンメットニーズに合致し、臨床への還元性および研究遂行可能性も高い。
