Scientific Significance and Expected Research Achievements

無機汚染物質を対象とした浄化手法として、キレート剤および機能性界面活性剤の設計開発、各々のメカニズム解明、包括的なリスク評価までを実施し、廃棄物の性状に応じた浄化手法のベストミックスの提案をゴールとしており、学術的発展、実用的な工業的手法として高い研究意義があると評価された。コスト面の浄化経済性評価も含め、この技術の実用化に向けた発展が大いに期待できる。
