Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
1.埋植デバイス高性能化:デバイスの低侵襲化を引き続き行い,侵襲性を免疫染色等で評価した.また既に奈良先端大で導入している光応答膜タンパクであるChR2を導入した遺伝子改変マウスを用いて埋植デバイスによる神経細胞への光刺激を行う実験を行った.連携研究者徳田が以前設計したチップを元に新たに光電気刺激可能な小型チップを設計した.光電気刺激機能はイメージングチップ上への集積化と別チップとするものとを試作する. これらの試作には本年度申請のマイクロチップ電気光学特性評価設備を用いる. 2.ネットワーク回路との双方向通信:前年度に引き続き海馬と扁桃体など複数部位への埋植を行い),複数部位間の神経活動における関係性を評価した.GABA以外にドーパミンについても遺伝子改変マウスを用いて側座核等への埋植によりその活性を計測した. 3.生体外通信方式:昨年度検討した方式を元に,光による生体外通信方式についての検討を進め,チップの試作を行い画像通信に成功した.

Reason
当初予定の3つの項目,1.埋植デバイス高性能化,2. ネットワーク回路との双方向通信,3.生体外通信方式の各々について,当初の計画に沿った内容の成果を得ることができたため.なお生体外通信方式は,RFではなく光で行うことを現在進めており,これは当初計画になかったことであるが,現状同様な効果を発揮する方式として検討を進めている.

3つの研究項目のうち,1. 埋植デバイス高性能化,2. ネットワーク回路との双方向通信に関しては,当初の計画通りに進めていく.3.生体外通信方式についてはこれまで光通信方式について検討を進め,チップ試作等を行い,一定の成果を収めているが,今後はRF方式についても実験を行っていく.
