Outline of Annual Research Achievements

本研究では,1)スイスおよび日本における排砂バイパストンネルの計画・設計・管理手法の比較分析,2)トンネル内部の高速流の流下特性と土砂流下に伴う摩耗損傷実態と対策手法の検討,3)トンネル下流への土砂供給に伴う生態的応答の検討,を行った.
1)では,日本とスイスで提案されている磨耗損傷予測式の予測精度の検証を行い,適切なパラメータ設定と磨耗に関する各プロセスの相対的重要性を明らかにした.
2)では,流下土砂量の評価手法として,スイスのGeophoneや日本のパイプマイクロフォンを参考に,高流速・大粒径の衝撃に耐えるプレートマイクロフォンを開発し,水理実験および現地検証試験(天竜川小渋ダムの実物トンネルを使用)を通じて,その特性検証を行った.その結果,検知可能な粒径範囲を明らかにするとともに,流砂の検出率に影響する衝突の飽和度や衝突率を加味しながら,トンネル流量と単位時間当たりのパルス信号を用いて掃流砂量を推定する手法を提案した.また,トンネル内の土砂の流下特性として,大粒径土砂が小粒径土砂に比べ吐口に早く到着すること,トンネルカーブの内側に偏って土砂が流れていることを明らかにした.
3)では,排砂バイパスの運用年数が異なる日本とスイスの4つのダムで河床環境と底生動物群集の比較検討を行った結果,バイパス運用年数の長いダムほどダム下流の河床や底生動物はダム上流に近づくことを確認した.またドローン空撮による砂州の河床地形変化の評価により,土砂供給効果が評価可能であることを示した.
4)2017年5月に京都大学を会場に第2回排砂バイパス国際会議を開催(日本,スイス,台湾など合計9か国,170名以上参加)し,世界のバイパス比較、ダム上流,トンネル内部,ダム下流,ダム運用の4つのトピックに分けて研究発表および討議を行い,排砂バイパストンネルの現状技術の到達点および今後の課題について討議を行った.
