Outline of Final Research Achievements |
This study has aimed at systematizing and developing the mathematics curriculum for teacher education, based on the concept of "mathematical literacy" already used in new school math standard in Japan. Examining critically curricula proposed in our preceding research project, we describe a framework of mathematical literacy for (mathematics) teachers, and develop further didactic of new materials such as history of mathematics. Moreover we are applying our study to other subjects to establish a new study of school content knowledge.
