Outline of Final Research Achievements |
A rapid chemical analysis system has been developed for superheavy elements by installing a gas-jet transport system, a continuous dissolution apparatus, a flow solvent extractor, and a flow liquid scintillation detector to the RIKEN gas-filled recoil ion separator. The present system is expected to realize aqueous chemistry of the heaviest elements such as element 106, seaborgium (Sg) and element 107 bohrium (Bh).
