| Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
次世代を生み出す生殖細胞は動物にとって最も重要な細胞種である。生殖細胞には他の細胞種に比べて多種多様な非コードRNAが発現しており、ゲノムの保護や遺伝子発現制御に機能しているが、大半の非コードRNAの機能は未知である。本研究では、モデル生物のショウジョウバエを用いて、生殖細胞の維持と分化を制御する非コードRNAの分子機能の解析を行った。現在、長鎖非コードRNAについては、バイオインフォマティックス解析と、ショウジョウバエ遺伝学を用いた生体内での解析を組み合わせた論文を執筆中である。
