Outline of Final Research Achievements

This study aimed to analyze what factors are important for pathogens transmission, focusing on mosquito-borne diseases such as malaria, in Burkina Faso, West Africa. As a result, it has become clear that insecticide resistance as a biological factor of mosquitoes and the use of insecticides such as pesticides as a non-biological factor have come to an extremely important aspect for malaria control. Although insecticides are important for malaria control, it has been identified that there is a high need for comprehensive and continuous monitoring, including use for agricultural applications.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements
