Outline of Final Research Achievements

In this research, we have developed algorithms to realize a mobile agent system that integrates various computing environments on the Internet. First, to collect and distribute tasks by mobile agents, we proposed partial gathering and uniform deployment algorithms. Second, since agents move around on the Internet, we proposed algorithms to reduce the moving costs. Third, since agents can become faulty during the long-distance movement, we proposed algorithms to improve reliability of mobile agent systems.
