Outline of Final Research Achievements |
We developed newly transcutaneous spinal stimulation (TSS) system. We applied spinal stimulation for gait restoration among patients with stroke. The spinal stimulation was triggered by muscle activity of unaffected soleus muscle during locomotion. Gait training with TSS improved 10m walk test and symmetricity of locomotion. it was supposed our newly developed TSS system combined with gait training may effective to improve gait function.
