Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
I spent most of the year in Eichstaett, Germany at the Katholische Universitaet. I read the main texts of Kant and important secondary sources. I wrote on the Antinomies section of the Critique of Pure Reason as well as the meaning of the distinction between "transcendence" and "transcendent".

Current Status of Research Progress
2: Research has progressed on the whole more than it was originally planned.
Reason
I was able to deepen my knowledge of Kant during the past year through a careful reading of the Critique of Pure Reason and important secondary sources in German.

Strategy for Future Research Activity |
I will start to write my interpretation of the Critique of Pure Reason. In particular I will write about the "Transcendental Deduction." I am also working to deepen my knowledge of Mimetic Theory, which forms the background of my approach to Kant.
