2017年度は、基盤研究A「編集文献学の実践的展開―文化の継承と教育への応用 （代表・明星聖子）」、基盤研究Ｃ「中英語宗教文学における予定説の解釈と受容に関する研究 （代表・松田隆美）」との共催で、9月に国際シンポジウム 'Mechthild of Hackeborn’s Liber specialis gratiae: The Idea of its Middle English Translation and Oxford, MS Bodley 220'を静岡大学で開催し、Dr Asami Miura (中央大学）,Dr Anne Mouron (Oxford University) Professor Christiania Whitehead (University of Warwick / University of Lausanne) が報告し、続いて国内外の研究者による活発な議論が行われた。これに関連し、慶應義塾大学において、The Boke of Gostely Grace とThe Doctrine of the Hertに関する国際ワークショップを行い、写本校訂の実際について意見を交換した。
Dr Anne Mouron と共同でLiber specialis gratiae の中英語翻訳であるThe Boke of Gostley Grace(Oxford, Bodleian Library, MS Bodley 220)の校訂作業（写本間の異同、ラテン語テクストとの間の異同等を含む）を加速させた。
The Boke of Gostely Grace, edited from Oxford, MS Bodley 220 with Introduction and Commentaryの刊行計画について、Exeter Medieval Texts and Studies, University of Liverpool Pressのseries editorsの審査を受け、契約が成立した。

Reason
シンポジウムとワークショップを開催し、研究が充実した。校訂作業がおおむね計画通りに進んでいる。
Exeter medieval texts and studiesとして出版するに値する内容であることが認められ、出版社との契約が成立した。

| Strategy for Future Research Activity |
Dr Anne Mouron と共同で行っているThe Boke of Gostley Grace(Oxford, Bodleian Library, MS Bodley 220)の校訂作業のうち、コメンタリー等を完成させる。Liber specialis gratiaeとの異同については、Dr Mark Atherton(Oxford University)の協力を得ることとなる。校訂の最終稿を本年度中に完成に近づけるために鋭意努力する。
