Outline of Final Research Achievements |
On the structure and historical change of complex sentence construction, we focused on noun phrases. We put forward a syntactic point of view, which was inadequate in conventional grammatical history research, and dynamically draw historical changes without staying in a synchronous description in classical languages. In addition to an inductive methodology based on philology, we actively adopted theories constructed in modern Japanese and other languages, such as "grammarization" and "historical pragmatics". It can contribute to world linguistics from both theory and description.
