2件の海外学会での発表をした。1件目は2017年8月30日にオランダアムステルダムでのMetaphor Festival 2017にて"Metaphor and context in anti-proverbs:From a relevance-theoretic account"と題して、例文：When one door shuts, another opens---which means that you live in a drafty house.などを分析した。2件目はギリシャ、アテネ大学にて2017年9月13日にBeyond Meaning Conference にて"Understanding Anti-Proverbs:A Relevance-Theoretic Account"と題して、例文：A handful nuts a day keeps the doctor away.などを分析した。さらに、著書の一部に成果を発表した。2018年3月10日に『翻訳と語用論』開拓社で、40－59ページの第3章翻訳とことわざのなかで特に、第3章3.5ことわざの拡張用法と翻訳のところで、すこし、研究成果を述べた。p.56では、日本語では「一を聞いて十を知る」から拡張用法「十を聞いて一を知る」「位置を聞いて住所を知る」とか英語ではAll roads lead to Rome.から拡張用法All roads lead to a grave.とかAll verbal communications lead to Sperber and Wilson. などへの展開を説明した。本研究のことわざの創造用法に関する本や論文などがハンガリーなどでも多くの研究があり、今後、なんらかの形で、研究成果をさらに、発展させて発表したい。
