Outline of Final Research Achievements |
In order to construct a fundamental theory of law and state and consider whether we have a moral duty to obey the law, this research aims to explore what a legal state is and why we have a mora duty to achieve it. This research examines various kinds of arguments that might support political obligation, and then shows that we have a moral duty to realize a legal state because we have a moral duty to respect each one's liberty as independence. It is certain that states play a positive role to actualize the legal state, but it fails to achieve a perfect legal state. This research concludes that the global republic is necessary to reach a global legal state.
