A suretyship can be defined as a contract whereby a person (surety), undertakes to the creditor of another person(principal debtor), that as accessory to the principal debtor’s liability, the surety two will be liable for the debt. In this research we have discussed the evolution of the meaning and the range of the notion of "accessory principle" of personal suretyship.
