Outline of Final Research Achievements

Pregnant women after infertility treatment had high anxiety for miscarriage. Goodness of marital relationships, satisfaction to childbirth, acceptance of self as infertile women were important to maternal role attainment. Marital relationships diversely changed during infertility treatment, pregnancy, childbirth and parenthood. The importance of psychological support in reproductive and perinatal medicine was clinically implicated.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements

近年、生殖医療（不妊治療）の発達に伴い、これによって妊娠、出産に至る当事者数は年々増加、蓄積している。このような社会的背景のもと、不妊治療中の患者の心理的ストレスについては一定の研究成果が蓄積され、不妊治療中の患者がさまざまなストレスを経験しやすいということは社会一般においても知られるようになってきている。一方、不妊治療後の妊娠、出産、育児期における当事者心理についての研究は多くはない。本研究ではこれらをまとめ、不妊治療経験者に対する生殖医療現場、周産期医療現場における心理的理解と心理的支援の在り方について臨床的示唆を得た。
