Outline of Final Research Achievements

The purpose of this study was to explore emotional literacy (emotional intelligence) in ECEC practice and regional child-rearing support and to develop a program to foster emotional literacy.
Consistent with prior studies, findings demonstrate the importance of emotional literacy in ECEC and as a condition of practice. The difficulties and coping methods of supporters and guardians involved in regional child-rearing support are clarified.
These findings apply to feature articles in specialist journals and in-service training. This study contributes to ECEC practice and regional child-rearing support.
