Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
The project was extended by one year due to remaining funding. The funds were used to present results in various conferences, e.g. in SpinTECH IX conference in Fukuoka, ISNTT2017 Conference in Atsugi, Nano-Spin Conversion workshop in Osaka, and CEMS Symposium on Trends in Condensed Matter Physics at RIKEN in Wako. Papers published this fiscal year (with acknowledgement of this Kakenhi project No. 26390014) include A. A. Reynoso, J. P. Baltanas, H. Saarikoski, J. E. Vazquez-Lozano, J. Nitta, and D. Frustaglia, Spin resonance under topological driving fields, New Journal of Physics 19, 063010 (2017) and S. Lepadatu, H. Saarikoski, R. Beacham, M. J. Benitez, T. A. Moore, G. Burnell, S. Sugimoto, D. Yesudas, M. C. Wheeler, J. Miguel, S. S. Dhesi, D. McGrouther, S. McVitie, G. Tatara, and C. H. Marrows, Synthetic ferrimagnet nanowires with very low critical current density for coupled domain wall motion, Scientific Reports 7, 1640 (2017). The project extension was also used to produce preliminary data for the next multi-year Kakenhi Scientific Research C project No. 17K05510. Funds for this project was used in tandem with this research project. In conclusion, the project extension was effectively used to disseminate scientific results of the project.
