| Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
高密分子系における「ガラス転移」、粉体系における「ジャミング転移」、それらの類似性に着目した「遅い緩和」を記述する統一的（普遍的）枠組みに関する研究が、近年精力的に行われている。本プロジェクトでは、研究代表者の開発した高密剛体球系解析に不可欠な新しい方法論を基礎に、近年著しく注目を集めているガラス転移の動的協働促進機構（ダイナミック・ファシリテーション）の一般化と時空アンサンブル解析による非平衡相転移の解明を目的とし研究を遂行した。平成28年度（最終年度）の顕著な成果として、(i) 高密2成分剛体球ガラス系における拡張（一般化）された動的協働促進理論の研究。特に2成分系の成分比を系統的に変え、過圧縮液体で長時間緩和後も部分結晶化が生じないモデル系の探索ならびに拡張動的協働促進理論の予測に基づいた大規模かつ系統シミュレーションによる検証を行い、【日米英国際共同論文】をPhysical Review Letters誌に公表した(2016.9.28)。(ii) 剛体球シミュレーションの方法論と最新の成果を含めた依頼レビュー論文がBook ChapterとしてWorld Scientificから出版された。これらの成果も含め、最終年度は、著書1、論文2（掲載可1）、招待・依頼講演3、国際会議3、国内会議2にて成果を公表した。また(i)に関連した一般向けアウトリーチとして、名工大プレスリリース「分子の世界の「ファシリテーション」をとらえた！―世界最速アルゴリズムでガラス物質の神秘に迫る―」(2016.10.3)、EurekAlert!「Applicability of dynamic facilitation theory to binary harddisk systems」(2016.12.7)、中部経済新聞「研究現場発」(2016.12.20)においても研究紹介が公表された。
