| Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
isopropenyloxazolidinone と acetoaldehyde とのアルドール反応により生じるアルドール生成物（１：１ジアステレオマー混合物）を J. M. J. Williams らの速度論的酵素反応を利用して分離し，(+)-ascospiroketal B の 2-methyl-3-hydroxybutanoic acid 部分をエナンチオ選択的に合成した．また，キラルな 1,3-propanediol から出発し，１０～１８位に相当する部分を (10Z)-alkenyliodide として得た．１～９位に相当する部分は chiraloxazolidinone を不斉補助基とする 1,4-付加反応により，２位の tetraalkyl (all-carbon) 不斉四級炭素を構築したのち，3-alkyloxypropanal と塩基性条件下で aldol 反応させ，β-ラクトンへと変換し，３，４位の不斉の導入に成功した．

| Strategy for Future Research Activity |
１～９位に相当する部分をモデルを使った時と同様な方法で合成を進め，１０～１８位部分とパラジウム(0)触媒によるカップリングを行ったのち，3-hydroxy-2-methylbutanoic acid 部分と縮合させて全合成を完成する予定である．

当初予定していた不斉反応を次年度に行うことにしたため，必要な試薬も次年度に購入することになったため．

本研究最終年度に当たるため，研究目標達成に向け主に試薬などの消耗品の購入，学会発表のための旅費などで全額使い切る予定である．
