Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Medical institutions' refusal of medical treatment to patients who underwent organ transplantation in Asian countries raises an ethical problem. If ministries that should oversee refusal of medical treatment, or, medical associations, academic medical societies, etc. in a position to recommend against such refusal, give silent approval of this refusal, for whatever reason, it goes against justice. Furthermore, silent approval of refusal of medical treatment is considered to be more vicious than the refusal itself.
