Outline of Final Research Achievements |
We generated Alzheimer disease model mice with insulin resistance by mating IRS1 knockout (IRS1KO) mice with the Alzheimer disease model mice, APP23 transgenic (APP23Tg) mice or human mutant APP knock-in mice (NL/F KI), respectively. It was not significant difference in cognitive function determined by Y maze test between APP23Tg(-)-IRS1 wild type (WT) mice, APP23Tg(+)-IRS1WTmice, APP23Tg(-)-IRS1KO mice and APP23Tg(+)-IRS1KO mice. It was not significant difference in cognitive function determined by Y maze test between APPWT-IRS1WT mice, NL/F homo KI-IRS1WT mice, APPWT-IRS1KO mice and NL/F homo KI-IRS1KO mice.
