Outline of Final Research Achievements |
We sought to clarify the roles of Rab27 and its effectors in allergic immune responses. We confirmed that deficiency of some Rab27 effectors altered antigen-induced Th2 responses, suggesting that they play important roles in allergic immune responses. We also identified cells in which those effectors function to regulate allergic immune responses, and partially clarified the mechanisms of their actions in those immune cells.
