| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
We made a hypothesis that syndecan-4 elevated in chronic lung disease infant after chorioanmionatis and that the difference in expression of syndecan-4 in early time after delivery could reflect degree of chronic lung disease in preterm infants.
First, we measured syndecan-4 in term infants for reference value. We tried the measurement of syndecan-4 in preterm infants, however,umbilical cord blood or residual serum for this study were too insufficient to analyze even after one year extension of the research.
