Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Absolute myocardial blood flow (MBF) and myocardial perfusion reserve (MPR) mesurements yields incremental diagnostic and prognostic information on relative perfusion alone. We compared various clinical risk factors in patients with coronary artery disease (CAD) to validate the MBF or MPR by 201Tl cardiac dynamic SPECT using a cadmium zinc telluride (CZT) camera. The quantification of the MBF and MPR on dynamic SPECT obtained with the aid of a CZT camera is clinically feasible. We could prove clinical risk factors for rest MBF, stress MBF, and MPR.
