Outline of Annual Research Achievements

成長期の近視は、眼球が大きくなることで生じる。しかしながら、成長期の眼球形態の変化は明らかではない。近年、光干渉断層計の登場により、眼球形態をマイクロメートル単位で画像化することができ、検査は非侵襲であることから、小学校と中学校の眼球の成長に伴う、眼底微細構造の変化を明らかにすることを目的とする。
初年度、2年度に引き続き、小学校5年生122名、中学校3年生182名の3年目の検査を予定通り完了し、眼軸長、アンケート内容、光干渉断層系の検査結果をデータベース化した。小学校3年生と中学校1年生の眼球形状に差があることを、眼軸長、眼底血管走行、視神経乳頭周囲神経線維膨隆を用いて証明した。また、その結果をThe association for research in vision and ophthalmology 2016 meetingで『Relationship between retinal artery trajectory and axial length in Japanese elementary and junior high school students』、『Sex-related differences in axial length, anterior chamber depth and lens thickness in elementary school students』、『Relationship between lifestyle and axial length in Japanese elementary school students』、第12回ヨーロッパ緑内障学会で『Peripapillary nerve fiber elevation and its association with axial length and conus in junior high school students』
第22回国際視野学会で『Relationship between retinal artery trajectory and ocular biometry in Japanese elementary and junior high school students』の5演題を発表した。
