Outline of Final Research Achievements |
A new IkappaB kinase inhibitor, IMD-0354, was systemically injected into an animal model of human endogenous uveitis. Clinical severity of uveitis was significantly milder in treated mice than that of untreated control mice (p<0.05). It showed a dose-dependet effect. Pathological severity was also significantly milder in treated mice than controls (p<0.05). A new IkappaB inhibitor had a beneficial effect on regulating uveitis in mice.
