Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
Pilot projects completed in all five countries. Data has been collected across Japan from 60 nurse clinicians and academics. Data has been collected across northern Thailand from 60 nurse clinicians and academics. Data has been collected across China from 60 nurse clinicians and academics and analysis of data is complete and a manuscript is being prepared for publication. Data has been collected from 21 participants in Australia. Some delays in data collection and a new research site (University of New England) has been added. In Korea data has been collected over 20 clinicians and academics and there have been major problems because the local students have been too busy to collect data.

Reason
The project is progressing well despite some delays in Australia and Korea. Data collection has been completed in Thailand, China and Japan.

Strategy for Future Research Activity |
[Japan] Data Analysis is underway and to be completed by September 2016. Results will be presented at Kanazawa on October 22nd 2016. [Thailand]Analysis of data is underway and to be completed by September 2016. Results will be presented at an international conference in Chiang Mai in June 2016. [China]Plan to SUBMIT manuscript by November 2016. Masters student working on an education intervention to address deficits highlighted in the Chinese study. Proposal to be completed by July 2016. [Australia] Data collection will be completed in July 2016 and data analysis by November 2016. [Korea]To cease data collection in July 2016 and add this data to pilot data so there will be sufficient to analyse.
