Outline of Final Research Achievements

This research has shown the following points: 1) History education in Northern Ireland is relatively well-balanced in terms of materials (such as books and visual materials) and examinations; 2) However, the impact of school education is rather limited since in the Northern Ireland education system, not many pupils learn local history in detail, especially topics related to modern Northern Ireland; 3) References between textbooks and murals (local community media) in Northern Ireland can be seen.
