Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
Exposure and DNA adductomics analyses of extracted 2'-deoxynucleosides from model organism were continued by LC/ESI-MS/MS. ROS assays were continued. RNA transcriptomics overall experimental plan and methods for RNA extraction were developed and conducted. RNA-seq data were obtained from experiments where model organism was either exposed or unexposed to 1,2-naphthoquinone. Developed post-analysis methods for comparative analyses of RNA-seq data. Conducted analyses. Differentially expressed genes were detected under the condition of FDR value less than or equal to 0.00001 with values showing at least a 2-fold difference between conditions. Differentially expressed genes were tabulated and annotated for identification purposes. Overall, data interpretation, organization and synthesis are ongoing. Preparation of manuscript(s) for submission to international peer-review journals is in progress.
