Outline of Final Research Achievements |
In this research, for realizing high-level complex event processing (CEP) facilities, we developed an extensible LBSN (Location-Based Social Network) framework where event knowledge is represented by ontologies and its corresponding event processing technologies. As target application domains, we considered lifelogs for monitoring human activity events in addition to LBSNs. In addition to development of ontologies, we studied on flexible event processing techniques in data stream environments and semantic analysis of trajectory data for supporting location-based services.
