| Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
本研究の目的は，嫌悪感の認知的基盤を明らかにすることであった。平成27年度は尺度の開発，身体化認知に関する研究，視覚的感情処理に関する研究，ならびに応用的研究を行った。
尺度開発では，英語で開発されたDPSS-Rを日本語化し，十分な信頼性と妥当性を確認できたため現在国際誌に投稿中である (Iwasa, Tanaka, & Yamada, submitted)。
身体化に関する研究では，画像により喚起された感情が無意図的な身体動作を誘導することや (Sasaki, Yamada, & Miura, 2015, Acta Psychologica)，中性感情は身体空間の中央付近に配置されることなどを明らかにした (Marmolejo-Ramos et al., in revision)。また人影に対する性別判断に，女性観察者の基礎体力が影響することも明らかになり (Kishimoto et al., 2016, LEBS)，これに脅威管理の認知処理が関わることを示唆した。
視覚的感情処理に関しては，空間周波数に基づく視覚不快が単独関与すると考えられていたトライポフォビアについて，社会不安も同様に貢献することを示した (Chaya et al., in press, PeerJ)。これも脅威管理理論から，他者からの注目に脅威を感じる人はそれを暗示する視覚物体の集団を回避するような感情反応を示すことで安心を確保すると考えられる。
最後に，嫌悪感の生起だけでなく，嫌悪感生起時に我々の心内に何が生じているのかに関しても研究を行った。そこで明らかになったのは，自己の感情の無視が求められるマインドフルネスが，事前に見せられた嫌悪刺激によって促進されるということであった。これが免疫的な効果なのかその他の何らかの感情処理の変調なのかは不明であるが，これまで負の側面しか議論されてこなかった嫌悪感に応用的にプラスの側面が存在することを示唆した意義は大きいと考える。
総じて，平成27年度の研究は嫌悪感についての理解を大きく深め，以後のさらなる研究を促進する契機となったことを確信している。

Reason
当初はあくまで嫌悪感を支える認知メカニズムの一旦の解明を目標としていた。しかし研究が進展するにつれ，想定していなかったようなメカニズムとの関与（視覚的不快感，身体化等）が明らかになり，さらに嫌悪感の応用的利用までも可能であることが示唆された。したがって本研究の進捗は計画以上の進展を見せたと評価できる。

| Strategy for Future Research Activity |
今後の研究では，嫌悪感の感情処理，身体化との関連，視覚処理との関連，応用性に関するそれぞれの研究をさらに進展させる予定である。特に，アフリカやアマゾンなどの原住民に対しての研究は，これまで進めてきた文化差研究 (Marmolejo-Ramos et al., 2013, in revision) にさらに大きく踏み込むものであり，嫌悪感の理解にとって極めて重要な意味を持つ（嫌悪感は言語とは無関係に「獲得される」ものであると考えられているため）。
またさらに，動物研究を進める必要がある。現在，かごしま水族館とイルカ研究についての議論を行っている。実験を行うことができれば，イルカの嫌悪感に関して様々なことが明らかになるだろう。
この挑戦的萌芽研究を基礎として，次々と嫌悪感の多くの側面を検討する機会が生まれている。研究代表者は今後それらをいっそう推し進めるつもりである。

現在投稿中の複数の論文の掲載費として残していた分があったが，査読の都合で年度内使用できず，次年度使用することになった。

| Expenditure Plan for Carryover Budget |
現在PLOS ONE，PeerJ，Frontiers in Psychologyのオープンアクセスジャーナルへ投稿中あるいは採択済の論文の掲載費として使用を考えており，それらが総額で40万円ほどになる。したがって，それらにより残額通りの使用を計画している。
