Outline of Final Research Achievements |
In this study, we aimed at a novel design support platform that can support technologists in developing countries to develop their own new technologies for their own purposes. Various constraints that do not exist in developed countries exit in developing countries, and they often prevent from getting solutions. Our hypothesis was that we may get creative solutions if we can go back to the first principles and restructure the problem itself. We have partially proved this hypothesis through experiments in Ghana, and, at the same time, we have found new difficult problems.
