Outline of Final Research Achievements

We developed a new method for screening novel functional RNAs and peptides that specifically bind to target molecules in cell. Here, we prepared a total RNA library derived from various human tissues, then mixed them with folate molecules covalently immobilized on magnetic beads to isolate folate-binding RNAs. The RNA library was also subjected to in vitro translation to prepare a peptide library, which was then used to screen Keap1 binding peptides by means of mRNA display.
