Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
本研究は,磁性体を用いた光回路に関する知見を発展させて,スピン波(磁化の波)の配線を,伝播媒体を加工し実現するものである。これに向けて本年度は,媒体の形成と,バルクYIGを用いた1次元体(直線)のプロセス確立と,2次元体(曲げをもった配線)の測定系の構築を行った。 新規に購入したターゲットを用いて,高耐熱バッファー層の形成条件の確立を行った。高耐熱バッファー層上に,YIGを初めて形成し,磁化特性を明らかにした。 同時に, YIGを用いた2次元体の導波路および,マグノニック結晶を作成し,スピン波の伝搬と,曲がった導波路におけるスピン波の伝搬,および,ストップバンド(マグノニックバンドギャップ)の発言を確認した。
