含水小惑星の反射スペクトルから、小惑星表層物質の含水量を求めるのが最終目標である。本年度は、酸素分圧をIWに固定してマーチソンCM炭素質隕石試料を400℃、600℃、900℃に加熱し、加熱による水分量変化、鉱物学的変化、反射スペクトルの変化を調べた。その結果、400℃加熱でPCPの分解に伴い水分量が減少し、600℃加熱で含水ケイ酸塩分解に伴いほぼすべての水分が失われることがわかった。反射スペクトルも鉱物学的変化、水分量変化と相関して変動していくことが確認できた。一方で、加熱実験後に大気に曝すことにより、大気中の水分が腹水することがわかった。腹水した水分は、吸着水と異なり、400℃程度の高温に加熱しないと脱水しないことがわかった。腹水分を補正することで、3ミクロンバンドの吸収深さと水分量の関係を定量化することができた。今後は小惑星観測のあかり衛星のデータを用いて、実際の小惑星表層の水分量を定量化することを試みる。
