| Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
（１）堆積物中モリブデン，タングステンの濃度と安定同位体比の分析法の開発を進めた．マイクロウェーブ分解，エチレンジアミン三酢酸基を有するキレート樹脂による固相抽出，陰イオン交換，蒸発乾固・再溶解に基づく分析法をほぼ確立した．さらに精度，確度を高め，方法の妥当性を証明するために，追加の最適化と検討が必要である．
（２）上記の方法を用いて，日本海中層堆積物コア試料（岩内沖，水深900 m，コア長7 m，堆積年代4.6万年前～）の分析を進めた．Mo濃度とMo/W濃度比の高いピークが，10,000, 15,000, 30,000, 46,000年前に見られた．これは，還元環境でMoがチオモリブデン酸として沈殿したことを示唆する．しかし，∂98/95Moは0.8以下で，Mo/W比と相関を示さなかった．W濃度はAl濃度と同様に比較的変化が小さく，∂186/184Wはほぼ0‰であった．これは，陸源物質の供給速度がほぼ一定であったことを示唆する．Mo/W濃度比，モリブデン同位体比，およびタングステン同位体比を古海洋プロクシとして確立するために，異なる堆積環境の試料の分析を今後進めていく．
（３）海水中沈降粒子，エアロゾル粒子などの銅安定同位体比の分析法を開発した．時間不足のため，堆積物試料の分析法の開発は，今後の課題として残った．
