Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Phosphoinositides (PIPs) are membrane lipids which play a role in various cellular functions. Recently a sensitive method for measuring PIPs molecular species is developed using mass spectrometry, however this method cannot discriminate among PIP1 and PIP2 isomers. We tried to establish a new method for measurement of these PIPs isomers.
