Outline of Final Research Achievements

We synthesized polymer nanoparticle libraries and performed screening to extract those polymer particles to inhibit periostin-dependent cell proliferation using in vitro cell proliferation assays. At the 2nd screening, we could extract Cation1-4, Cation1-5, Cation1-6 which inhibited cell proliferation in a dose-dependent manner. Among these polymer nanoparticles, Cation1-4 exhibited the significant inhibition of retinal and choroidal proliferation in vivo.
