Outline of Final Research Achievements |
“Kurort”, a German term, means “health resort medicine” in English. The results of a study conducted by myself suggest that Kaminoyama City, Yamagata Prefecture, is a site suitable for kurort in Japan. The results also suggest that sites for patients with diabetes to receive kurort therapy must accept emergency vehicles as a high-priority requirement. In addition to walking, group activities that people can participate in while enjoying nature and group interactions include footpath and forest therapy.
