| Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
本研究は，ナノスケールの人為的構造を導入した，光の制御が可能なスピン周期構造（ナノ光マグノニック結晶）を提案・形成し，電荷を動かさない（電荷非輸送型）光出力型スピン波演算素子の実現を目的とするものである。
（１）演算器形成：昨年度中に，計画通りの媒体を用いてスピン波の位相干渉を使った演算素子を実験で示すことができた。（２）変換部形成：昨年度中にナノ光マグノニック結晶を形成し，計算により光変調の大きさを試算し，測定系の構築を行った。（３）媒体形成：昨年度，薄膜の媒体形成には成功した。

Reason
演算部開発パートは，２０１５年度の中旬での厚膜による実証を予定したが，既に遂行された。変換部開発パートについては，当初の予定通り進行している。伝播媒体形成パートは，予定通り，変換部，演算部開発パートへの試料提供が開始でき，当初の計画通りである。全体的に，演算部開発パートが進んでいることから，当初の計画以上に推進しているといえる。

| Strategy for Future Research Activity |
（１）演算器形成：昨年度中に，計画通りの媒体を用いてスピン波の位相干渉に関し，詳細をまとめて報告すると同時に，機能の高度化を行なう。（２）変換部形成：高周波関連の機器を用意し，全体の評価システムを完成させ，スピン波―光変換器の実証を行なう。（３）媒体形成：薄膜媒体の高品質化および，低価格化を行なう。（４）全体の合体のプロセスについては，電子線描画プロセス等の環境・条件を整え，最終年度の完成に向けた準備を行なう。

| Causes of Carryover |
媒体加工用装置の購入を検討したが，事前検討の段階で当初の手法では予想以上に加工が難しいことが判明し，手法を変更し，むしろ測定系の精度向上によって，構造の不完全性を補うことができると考え，装置検討の時間確保のためにじ次年度に繰り越した。

光とスピン波の高精度測定系に用いる，デジタル・オシロスコープ，シグナルジェネレータ，モジュレータ及び測定に必要な物品の購入に使用する。
