Outline of Final Research Achievements |
"Plasmonic devices", which are considered as next-generation information processing devices, are required to work at optical communication wavelengths. Moreover, their dynamical properties at ultrafast time-regime have to be understood well to realize ultra-wideband information processing. In this study, we developed a new time-resolved microscopy, which enabled to obtain "movies" of surface plasmons of the wavelength at 1.55 μm with femtosecond time resolutions.
