Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Research using ionic conductors has attracted attention in order to further improve the performance of intelligent information processing devices that have been conventionally developed using Si transistors. In this study, an artificial inorganic synapse using Ag2S and Ta2O5 film has been developed, showing a synaptic weight control and oscillation phenomenon. In addition, a metallic filament formed by the electrochemical reaction at the nanoscale has been successfully observed.
