Outline of Final Research Achievements

To investigate differentiations of gene expression of homoeologs located on A, B and D- genome in common wheat, we constructed and analyzed a co-expression gene network of wheat homoeologs based on more than 700 RNA-seq data publicly available in wheat. Moreover, we performed transcriptome analysis of various wheat related species including A-genome ancestors, tetraploid wheat and hexaploid wheat to investigate functional differentiation of homoeologs through alloployploidization. Then, we revealed a putative relation between transcriptional changes in response to temperature environments and genome polyploidization of wheat.
